COMPETITION RULES: The ICF Wildwater Canoeing Competition Rules
SPORT EQUIPMENT: All the sport equipment must be safe and must follow the ICF rules. See rule number 18. Wildwater Canoeing Rules. All boats must be unsinkable. Buoyancy jacket must be EN ISO 12402-5 approved or any national standard that meets the same requirements. The safety helmets must comply with EN 1385. All paddlers must wear shoes on their feet.
WILDWATER RESCUE TEAMS: Wildwater rescuing will be guaranteed during the competitions along the course, not during training times.
MEDICAL CARE: A medical van with medical technicians will operate at the venue with first aid in attendance at all times during competitions.
INSURANCE: All official participants of the championships are strongly advised to apply for medical insurance in their respective countries. All participants compete at their own risk.
VISA: All participants are kindly requested to contact the Austrian Embassy or Consulate in their respective countries as to the relevant visa requirements. When you will need a special invitation letter to get visas, please contact the organizer or the Austrian Canoe Federation at least 60 days prior to the competition.
